As we reflect on an incredible year, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who joined us on this musical journey. Whether you’ve attended a performance in person, cheered us on from your seat, connected with us online through social media, or shared your love and talents as a member of our chorus – your presence has meant the world to us.
The Live Oak Singers, San Antonio’s LGBTQ+ and friends chorus, exists to serve our community by opening hearts and minds to love and acceptance through the power of Music. Every note sung, every hand held, and every smile shared is a testament to the strength and beauty of our mission. You are all an essential part of our story, and we are beyond grateful for the joy and support you’ve provided.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are filled with excitement for the new music, events and experiences which await. We cannot wait to share what’s in store, and hope to continue growing and making a difference together.

Things to Know
- The Live Oak Singers is an LGBTQ+ and Friends Chorus. Individuals come from various backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. We all share a common goal of building bridges through music!
- We are a four-part harmony chorus. All self-identified genders are welcome to join. Your vocal range will determine if you will be singing as a Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Bass.
- As members we all support our chorus. This is done in a variety of ways and one of the biggest is through the paying of dues. Dues are important as they help pay for the expenses of the organization. These expenses include rental space, music, insurance, and lots more. Scholarships are available if you would like to sing with us; don’t let finances keep you from joining in!
